I routinely modify the global tempo of my audio tracks so that I can play with them while learning a song, and work my way up to the correct BPM gradually.
All of a sudden, I can no longer edit the tempo, and the tempo input box appears to be split in half with the previous tempo on one side and 00 on the other. I've never had a problem with this before, and was actively doing it right up until I couldn't.
All my tracks are audio, and I have no external source of input.
When I go to Options/Preferences and choose the Link/Tempo/MIDI tab, everything is 'zeroed out' except Input channel (Ext. in) which is set to 1/2, and I can't set it to None. That's the only worrisome setting I can find, and I suspect that it's a default value.
I use Ableton Live 11 on my Windows 11 computer.
Does anyone understand why this is happening????

Problem 'Fixed'
I tried to work on a different project, and discovered that all my projects were exhibiting the same problem, so I quit out of Ableton and rebooted my computer. Sure enough, everything was working once again.
Can no longer change global tempo: FIXED
