Where Did Automation Mute Go ?

The tutorial for Note on Ableton's website and the latest User's manual for Note show a "Mute" option for automation. It is simply missing in the current version (just download yesterday, 1/4/25). Also, the option to change filter controls in "Sampler" is gone, also clearly shown in the tutorial. I've noticed other things just plain GONE as well. Not rearranged so they appear elsewhere as a result of the UI being updated, totally missing. What's going on ?

Good point. Are you using the release or the beta version btw?
What are the other things you noticed gone?

I suppose I'm using the latest release version since I downloaded it directly from the App Store. I'm totally new to Note and haven't used Ableton since v9. So when I first started noticing things missing while watching the tutorial I just assumed Ableton hadn't updated it since first release and things had just been moved around in later releases. So I didn't make a point of specifically noting them. But by the time I got to the end and had been pretty much through the whole app I realized the stuff was just missing. The two I specifically remembered are the ones I mentioned but there were others.

It's like rather than fix issues they were having Ableton just deleted features instead to save time and money. It would be great if someone from Ableton could explain what's really going on. Do you know if they ever monitor this forum ?

I can't remember if the feature was removed for some reason, or if it's an error in the doc tbh.
