Hi.. I have a external audio source (Roland SPD-SX Pro) connected to my Push 3 to the In audio ports...
On the Push 3 in Settings > Audio, I have:
Sample Rate: 44100
Buffer Size 2048
Link 1 & 2 : On
1&2 Preamp Type: High
Push 3 is going into Live 12 in controller (not Standalone) mode.. The Input is to a single stereo channel in an otherwise empty project. Monitor on the track is set to In.
I've noticed that if I let this sit for a while (not sure how long.. could be minutes.. hours).. When I tap a pad on the Roland, there can be a significant delay... however, if I adjust the buffer size down, then back up.. the delay is noticeably / significantly reduced... until I wait a wile again, then the delay is quite noticeable again.
What's going on? it seems as if the latency 'builds' over time.
Latency issue
Re: Latency issue
A buffer size of 2048 samples is very big, so it is expected that you're feeling the delay.
As for the latency "building" over time, which Live12 version are you using exactly?
