Quantize different instruments/channels separately

Post by sophieandri » Wed Feb 05, 2025 3:57 am

I don't know how to do this on Ableton. A friend told me that I would be able with pro tools but... I need to quantize different instruments separately (every channel), but every time I quantize, every channel changes at the same time. How should I quantize every channel separately. Hope I explained myself

Per channel I see no way, per clip it goes like this:

Click and drag to select the notes you want to quantize or press Ctrl+A (Windows) / Cmd+A (Mac) to select all notes in the clip. Right-click (Windows) / Ctrl-click (Mac) on the selected notes and choose Quantize Settings... from the context menu, or press Ctrl+Shift+U (Windows) / Cmd+Shift+U (Mac).
