Using the foot pedal to advance multiple tracks with APC40 mkii

Post by mrgoodfellow » Fri Feb 28, 2025 12:39 am

I am using an APC40 mkii with a foot pedal to control my recording. When double tapping the foot pedal I am able to advance the selected track and then single tap to start/stop recording on the new track. This is perfect! However, I am trying to make the double tap advance multiple tracks at once (an Audio and accompanying MIDI track) and so far I am only able to advance the selected track and not any additional tracks. I'm sure there is a setting or an option to advance all armed recording tracks or something like that. Any advice would be greatly appreciated and help my recording workflow right now.

Basically, I would like to be able to double tap the footswitch to activate a new track on ALL record armed tracks instead of just the currently selected one.

Note: This currently ONLY works with the FIRST row of tracks when starting to record however once I double tap, only the selected track is advancing.

I did notice if I stop recording and ctrl select individual items I can then tap and start recording both tracks, but I have to stop/start recording. I would like to seamlessly advance multiple audio/midi tracks when double tapping the footswitch without having to put down my guitar.
