Firstly, let's not get my use of the term 'pop' confused with the 'click' you can add to a DS Kick instance.
In short, when increasing the attack amount on a DS Kick instance, where a midi clip has at least one note with velocity less than or greater than the rest, an audible pop is noticable. Setting the velocity to the same value on all notes gets rid of the pops, bit that's not what I want.
Let's take a simple four to the floor rhythm where the last beat of the clip has a "ghost" kick after it like so:

You'll notice that the attack on DS Kick is at 15%. This is to remove the click at the start of each kick (which is nothing to do with the 'click' option, DS Kick already has a click without this mode enabled).
You'll also notice that the ghost kick at the end of the clip has a lower velocity. This is where this pop is introduced. Set that note back to 100 to match the others and it goes away. It doesn't matter what velocity the main notes are at, just that the ghost note it different to the others. It can be higher or lower, it doesn't seem to matter, only that it's different.
It seems someone else tried to highlight this issue a few years ago but didn't do a very good job of it:

I'm running Live 12.1.5 on a MacBook Pro 2.3 GHz i9 with 32GB RAM. Sequoia 15.3.
Is anyone else able to reproduce this problem?
Thanks
