M4L device to set 0db at 12'oclock volume fader

Post by xkx » Mon Mar 03, 2025 1:59 am

Hello

Just wondering if something like this existed a M4L device to set 0db at 12'oclock volume fader? I'm mapping my volume fader but 0db is at 3pm position, and I want it to be at the 12 oclock position so I have more fader to increase sound, otherwise I'm making minute adjustments, which a bit frustrating in a live setting!

Thanks

You could use my free device called "Modulation Math" to do that.

Switch the mapping to "Remote" mode with the maximum at 85% and map the volume slider you want to control.

Then use the Input A dial to control your volume.

Here it is with the dial at maximum:

There are other devices you can likely use to do this too.
