Recent projects in Mac OS dock

Hi all,

I've been frustrated to see that when I start up ableton, there is no recent list when right clicking on the ableton app in the dock.
Or at least it is not mirroring the recent list under File>Open recent set>...

So right now the workaround is opening ableton and then when it is launched (which sometimes can take a while as I have saved a different start-up template with all my midi mappings) selecting from the "Open recent set" tab.

Is there any way to show the recent list in the mac os dock or is it just not possible?
+ can the existing one be removed (eg. WALTZ V3.wav) which I can't recall how it got there.

I have the same behavior, running 12.1.10 on an M1 MB Air, Sonoma 14.7.4. I currently have 5 recents visible in the File dropdown, but none show in the dock.

Logic shows it's recents in the dock as does TextEdit.

Other apps in my dock currently show only the currently opened window or pop up “No Available Windows” messages when clicking on Show Recents.

There is a setting to show recent applications in the Dock, it’s in System Settings -> Desktop and Dock, Show suggested and recent apps in Dock. Apple Help Page here

If I understand your problem correctly you can drag and drop the project als file onto the RHS of the dock. When you wish to start Ableton with that specific project, just double click the project icon in the dock and hey-presto!

Great tip, but not a recent list.

I'll have to contact ableton it seems.
