After much troubleshooting, I can say that MPE PolyPressure functionality is broken in version 12, at least with my hardware ATOMsq (the only MPE controller that I have at the moment). It is only when I set the ATOMsq to send MONO pressure (conventional Channel Aftertouch) that the expected functionality happens. However, although it shows as Pressure in the MPE Matrix, it behaves as Channel Aftertouch.
This is true in all versions of live 12 that I have tried from available archive installations.
The correct and expected MPE PolyPressure functionality works with no problem in my installed version of Live 11, however, as well as within other DAWs. Something seems to be wrong with 12, as least as far as MPE and the ATOMsq go.
Has anyone else had this experience?
Live 12 not recognizing MPE data from my ATOM sq

Considering your instrument device/3rd party plugin is correctly set/MPE compatible, did you make sure that MPE is enabled for your controller in Live's Preferences?

Did you check with the MIDI Monitor device?

Now I can confirm odd counterintuitive MPE settings behavior with my ATOM device whereby turning MPE Off in MIDI settings allows MPE functions to work where turning it On prevents this functionality.

Seems odd to me, but at least it "works"...?
