Seaboard M stops working after long period of inactivity

Post by yoyesiku » Sun Mar 30, 2025 4:56 pm

I have a Roli Seaboard M, Presonus Atom SQ, and a StudioLogic SL88 midi controller connected to Live Lite. After a period of inactivity (a couple of hours), the Seaboard M stops working in Live. The other midi controllers work fine - it's just the Seaboard M that stops working. I haven't had this issue in other DAW's with the Seaboard M. Anyone else have similar issue and know what the cause is?

System Info:

Windows 11 latest build/update
AMD Threadripper 3970X
64 GB Ram
RTX 3080 GPU

When this happens, are you still seeing some midi from the Seaboard arriving into Live (from the top midi activity indicator)?
I suppose you then need to turn your Seaboard off and back on again; what if you deactivate and reactivate it in Live's midi Preferences?
