Saving Vector Grain Output?

Pretty noobish question here. I have a vector grain instrument in my live set with a sample that I created loaded into it. I have it set to 3 grains and to auto-play when live's transport is enabled (no MIDI control). How do I record the output that the instrument generates when transport is started? When I arm the track to record and start playback or recording in live the proper sound is generated by the vector grain instrument (it even follows the automation envelopes I've drawn for it) but I cannot get the sounds to actually record anywhere. What am I missing?

I figured this out - for anyone else who is new to Live / this type of instrument, the solution I found is to route the output of the vector grain instrument to a new, empty audio track and arm that new track for recording. The output from the grain instrument will be recorded as audio in the new track.
