Crossfade Inconsistency

While I'm producing a track, I'm using a texture loop under the production and when the clip restarts throughout the arrangement, it's popping. And then I am using crossfade, and it worked on the point where the two clips merge, but then for the rest of the track, although I choose the same section, it crossfades either from the right side, or very very small from the left side. What had worked was a ideal amount of crossfade from the left side of the clip but I fail to repeat.
