I know it's been brought up before but it is beyond frustrating that after all these years, you STILL can't use warping in Sampler. This means you either have to choose between using Sampler-exclusive features or using Simpler just because it has warping. So, for example, you can't use loop brackets while also using warping, because loop brackets are only in sampler and warping is only in simpler. Sampler should surely have all the features Simpler has and more, right? What's the point of making people choose between what features they want if they own both?
This is especially frustrating because the warping algorithms in Ableton are far better than those in most samplers, like Kontakt for example.
Warp modes in sampler
Re: Warp modes in sampler
YES!!! This is driving me nuts! I have rhythmic samples in Simpler. I need to use warp mode to keep them in time especially if I need to transpose the pitch of a specific simpler instance (in a rack). Then when I want to change the pitch bend range. I am forced to convert to sampler in order to do that. Once I do that I lose the sync of certain samples. So warp (only simpler) pitch bend range changes (only sampler). This is ridiculous. Every time I ask about this, I am told that they can't see a reason to do this??? What??? Maybe there should just be ONE sampler instrument that does what both instruments can do. I have been wanting this for years. I have to re-record every note that is warped and load it into sampler to change other parameters? How does this make any sense? Does Ableton even read these forums. This has been brought up ad nauseum. This is a problem that can be solved. Please do this already.

Still not a thing, still absurd that it's not a thing. Just put the warp modes in Sampler already.
