I'm currently testing a Windows 11 Laptop (MS Surface Laptop 15" Gen7 intel) but I'm unable to get any ASIO driver to run (ASIO4ALL, Generic ASIO driver from Steinberg, DELL Realtek, etc). Is this a general Windows 11 issue or are the chipsets too new to be supported?
I had the same problems with an ASUS Zenbook S 16 I tested before (and returned due to these issues).
Windows11 Laptop with built-in audio : Any chance to get ASIO driver to run?
Re: Windows11 Laptop with built-in audio : Any chance to get ASIO driver to run?
What’s your interface(s)? Does the manufacturer have Win 11 drivers available? If so, I'd just use them.

With asio4all, it can be tricky figuring out the function of the various outputs in the driver settings.
If you’re not going into the asio4all driver setting interface you’re probably not going to have the best outcome.
Might take a bit of trial and error. I’d activate only one pair of outputs at a time and do the Test tone.

Thanks for your replies.
As mentioned above I don't want to use an audio interface as I won't need it for my production style.
On my old lenovo X1 carbon I just installed ASIO4All and after a little bit of experimentation it worked flawlessly.
I tried all possible settings with ASIO4All on those 2 W11 Laptops but it just does't work at all.
The FL studio driver at least produces sound but with a very high latency.
The steinberg driver produces crackles as soon as you touch anything in the GUI.
I had an accident and therefore have to spend a lot of time in bed. I was hoping to find a modern windows laptop that is capable of running ableton live without an interface because I have to constantly change positions in bed. But it seems Microsoft just doesn't care and therefore you are forced to switch to a Macbook. Pretty disappointing...
