Please Ableton this one is extremely important:
.alc files in browser need to be previewable, just like samples can, by just getting to the next one (or previous) with the up/down arrow keys, no click needed.
Having to click them is so aggravating and slow and there's also the risk of double-clicking and thus getting them as a new Track in project when all you want to do is audition them fast by cycling through. Again just a you can with samples.
It would not need to be a permanent setting but at least an option.
PS: What I do now, is use my up/down arrows with one hand, and click twice on the headphones icon with the other on a trackpad or a secondary mouse, since it is a toggle. It's still dirty, maybe if it could be made to not be a toggle as an option again so that we could decide to use it as a trigger (mappable MIDI or keyboard shortcut) that would allow for a somewhat acceptable workflow. But not really needing two hands at all when one could just use the up/down arrows with one would be optimal.
