crap. that is awesome. wow. why is it that every time I buy something, something else quickly comes along that kicks whatever I boughts ass. Like I got a 60 gig ipod a few weeks back, then they drop the video pods on us, dammit. This looks like the best all-in-one controller availible, it looks like it will be a hard one to top.

I've heard about this lemur and looked at the link--alls I can say is it looks awful expensive, and that I doubt my fat suasage fingers would be nearly as precise as a slider or knob, but ymmv. Its an interesting concept, but I think that traditional faders, knobs, and buttons are working fine for me right now, and bcr-2000's are cheap and packed with a ton of stuff that is all availible at once, no changing presets or screens or whatever. The novation's best live feature is certainly its ability to name and display info on the led screens, making multiple presets for live use WITH labels much more possible than using overlays on the evolution uc33s, or crappy stickers like I use on my bcr.ishimaru wrote:LEEEMMMUUURRRR.

it looks awesome but I don't like how it slants so much. the slanting toward you is cool but thats a 45 degree angel and if you're standing and that thing is on a table then your hands will be in a weird possition to play keys that are slanting toward your toes... no one else thinks so?
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.
I dig that. Big time. 45% is a compromise between sitting and standing, and it would flow well in parallel with leaning into a laptop screen.Johnisfaster wrote:it looks awesome but I don't like how it slants so much. the slanting toward you is cool but thats a 45 degree angel and if you're standing and that thing is on a table then your hands will be in a weird possition to play keys that are slanting toward your toes... no one else thinks so?
Of course that is just my opinion...
101 things to do with old snare stands...
nice use of snare stand. my novation k-station often resides on a tv tray table that belonged to a friend's grandpa and I rescued from storage. macguyver you are my hero.

And I believe something's wrong on that picture... It looks like this 45 degrees thing is a visual bad effect....Johnisfaster wrote:it looks awesome but I don't like how it slants so much. the slanting toward you is cool but thats a 45 degree angel and if you're standing and that thing is on a table then your hands will be in a weird possition to play keys that are slanting toward your toes... no one else thinks so?
