'best' controller available = opinions?
just trying to get a quick read on what everyone thinks/sees as the best midi controller for Live? (Live specifically - not general studio application)
the evolution UC-33 seems to be the new strong contender... no?
m-audio oxygen/ozone series been around for a minute now... but can it be taken seriously?
the edirol PCR series?
probably need to chain them, but the doepfer pocket series?
something i havent heard of yet thats better than what i listed?
just curious to what everyone thinks, or is looking forward to.
cheers,

Second the Remote 25, Just started doing gigs with it. Aweswome. The feature I particularly like is programmable transmit ranges for every knob. Especially good for LIVE so you can set your top and bottom filter frequencies for maximum harmonic sex (since LIVE can't set minimum and maximum modulation settings.)
How do you use a joystick with live? that would be really nice for some of the effects3phase wrote:Live hooks well with all faderboxes i come along..I use 2 evolution UC16,
one with a gamepad...2 joysticks are fun with Live
also is there any place to find vst effects online, kvr-vst has VSTi's but no effects
TIA,
Jake

Live controller
I had a good experience with the JL Copper CS-32 USB and Live 2.01 for OS-X.
While not ideal, it gave me a great combination of portability and features, which is hard to beat. I also wish there was a way to have multiple USB controllers - or something that has a joystick!!

Re: Live controller
correct me if im wrong, but cant multiple usb controllers be chained together and used at the same time in Live?drumroll57 wrote: I also wish there was a way to have multiple USB controllers
2 evolution UC-33's chained together look pretty ideal to me.
