STRUGLLING PLAYING MY ITUNES LIBRARY THROUGH ABLETON 5, HELP

hope someone can help, have just got ableton 5 but am struggling to play the songs on my itunes through ableton, is there something im doing wrong, hope you can help, ive searched everywere on the macintosh hard drive on ableton and when i click on to the itunes nothing comes up, i have a imac g4, please can someone help, thanks

Make sure the iTunes files you are trying to play are MP3s, not AAC. You can go into iTunes and right click or control click on the file and select "covert to MP3" if need be.

...and remember that won't work with protected (purchased from itms) files. you'll have to convert them to aiff by burning them to a cd first

you may want to start a second itunes library and put all your live compatible files in one (ie: mp3, aiff and wav) and all your non compatible files (aac etc) in the other so when you are using the browser in live you just use the folder that has compatible files so you are not sifting through stuff that wont work anyway...you can do this from the advanced tab in itunes prefs.
