Nice system dude
goes to show you really do get what you pay for. How much did it cost, if you dont mind me asking?
Thanks dude.
Pricey, yes, but still way cheaper than a dual G5.

Really pleased with my new machine - still got one core left to run a gazillion reason devices with, & seems to allow the pulsar to utilise real low latency with no glitchiness so far - ding dong
About this - from what I've read if you run Reason through rewire XP will run them both on one processor, so you don't get any benefit from a dual-core setup. Have you found this to be true?

My brand new ACER TM 8004 peaks at 60%+
It's a Pentium M 2Ghz (533 FSB)
7200 speed hdd
2Gb DDR2 ram
I did test it with the onboard soundcard, using Asio4all, just to test. I am still waiting for my Echo Indigo DJ
This score is pissing me off, tho...
I just don't get it!!

Did you put processor scheduling set to background services? Its the most common performance tweak for WinXp if using ASIO drivers.

The CPU is in SpeedStep mode and you are probably runnin at 40% CPU at the moment.
Check the CPU power management settings first and then if that fails there is a freeware installer patch that can disable the feature for you.
Thus giving you full CPU grunt.
My aren't the wings of butterflies beautiful and do they not make wonderful perturbations.....

Is this for real?!
At 12% the shaded area seems to go a bit far (+/- in the 60% zone).
Can we see a photo of the new PB?

yep, looks ".gif'd" doesn't it?
not to mention that even with Rosetta, Live wouldn't get this good performance as native PPC code.
