i think i left a can of SPAM in the cupboard...

dude, i dont know if you're involved in the abletonlivedj.com website thing or not, but if you aint you're probably going to negate any hard work they are doing to build up a community for the live dj's by spamming the core Live community.

at least be a little bit more constructive in your spam.

i dont respond to spam unless it's from the embassador of nigeria.

offer some viagra while you're at it...... type anything... just not a post with a URL...

theres another ableton dj community on google groups as well as this one. thats two in the last 6 weeks. its probably users who have got fed up with the negative vibes they get for mentioning they dj on this forum. it a shame really as the knowledge base just keeps getting spread thinner and thinner.

um, sorry guys, but that wasnt a spam! haha, yall are so paranoid.
i'm just a regular user who recently joined a number of groups and i'm stoked. i dont give a rats ass whether you check out the site or not. i just thought it might be of interest to folks who like to get all the ableton action they can.

if you havent noticed, i also posted a thread on a new ableton party i'm doing in NYC. its taking a LOT of work and a LOT of my own time and money, and i'm gettin NO monetary gain out of it. i am doing it to showcase the talents of ableton users and to build a user community in my area from which i can learn and share.

so yall can hang with me and grow or stay at home and be bitter bedroom producers, its up to you.

love all the rest of you cats and kittens,
peeez, jules aka djshakey

Everyone who knows me can testify that I'm definately paranoid. But we've had some quality control issues here in the last couple of weeks and I guess some of us are trying to protect this unique resource we have.

And yeah there are some VERY talented female producers and DJ's around.
I know two from the forum myself and a few others thru studios and contacts I've done stuff with, power to you, but don't get all defensive when someone doesn't know what gender you are through telepathy...

Next time you get all excited, please explain it to us instead of just puttin up bare URL's.

@sweetjesus: I know, we're getting a lil bit offtopic and this is also discussed in some other threads, too. But what currently is happen is regular for all growing communities.

Look: at the moment, this forum is based by people who payed much mony for a great product and use this mean time for work (or something else earning money). So most of the topics of the community are seriuos, because most of you don't want to spend time to fool around.

As ableton started to state the version 4 as a "give away" (with special limitations. e.g. 4lite or 4xs) and the number of cracks grows, the community expands. And not everyone who uses this product now is a serious dj, musician or producer.

On the other hand, the growing community offers also some new sites and groups around Live. This is okay to me, because i'm new to this product and like to see all information about this product.

Sorry for my english, so maybe something sounds not clear to you or doesn't reflect what i really intent to say.

Regards, Heiko
