The VST situation has defenently improved during the last couple of upgrades. But still, I find the amount of raw cpu power used on vst's in Live is out of proportions when you compare to fx. Cubase. Any solutions or suggestions on that? I'm looking at the TC PowerCore Compact, as a possible add-on. But still, it's a 600€ extra. Though I know it's probably well spend money, it's allso my families christmas gifts going down the drain:)
My specs. are 17" powerbook, 2gb. ram, Live 5.02.
