theres a strange effect on the vsampler amplitude envelopes when i use the VSTi version in ableton live 5 (latest build) ...
... the attack and release sections of the amp envelopes are resetting themselves when i load an instrument into vsampler ... for example i have a bass sampleset ive built with an attack time of 0.05 seconds and a release time of 0.25 seconds but when i load the instrument under live 5 the attack goes to 22.22 seconds and the release to 44.46 ...
... this happens (with different timings) to both the demo vsampler instruments as well as homegrown ones but ONLY when using vsampler loaded into live5 ... with the standalone version and in all my other VST hosts (tracktion 2 / energyXT / plogue bidule) the envelope settings load correctly ...
... any ideas ???

Hi Guys
Sorry to make my first post a resurrection of an old one: but that's what hte serch function is for I guess.
I too have this problem which is a shame as V-Sampler is pretty neat, especially at the price I got it for as an upgrade path on owning Sonar 3.
Anyhoo: you can get by the problem in 5 by running V-sampler inside EnergyXt (which I happened to have lying around). I've only tried a few times but it seems like saving in Live now doesn't knock all the envelope settings to pot.
Live 5: Great piece of software, apart from having to phaff with Reason to get it in time.
regards
