Looking for USB interface in London!!!!

Post by Durgal » Sun Jan 22, 2006 8:28 pm

Hi everyone
I have just moved from Australia to London. I had to leave all my DJ/Production gear at home. I did however bring my laptop with ableton. I am looking for a store in London that sells USB crontrollers etc. I used to have an evolution X-Session. Now im after something with a few sliders and more knobs ie the Behringer UC -33.
What would you guys recomend and where would you suggest i buy it from?

the uc33 is an evolution controller not berhinger. I've got one and i love it. My mate uses the x-session and i like that as well but i couldn't live without the faders. make sure you get a uc33e but you can upgrade the uc33 fairly easily and cheaply.

'turnkey' on Charing Cross road is pretty good. stocks most things and their prices are pretty good.

turnkey is the easy place to find , but the service is quite shit ,they are always too busy & don't have the time be nice & polite .
now i use digital village http://www.dv247.com/
they are great & everytime i go there they give me a big discount , you can take your time to try the gears without having 5 peoples looking over your shoulder ,
plus ,the staff at dv knows their gears ,at turnkey they don't know shit about gears .
