Thompson Twins, it's easier to spell 8O

Here's to Future Days was a great album, one of my first.

I only say Thompson Twins cause Tom Bailey went on to form International Observer and they are great!

No question, Human League! "Keep feeling fascination" was excellent, as was "Don't you want me".

Neither could hold a candle to The Pet Shop Boys though...

Humming Leg, though (of course) before the schism.

Reproduction and Travelogue are still excellent and don't sound dated in the bad way .. and also perhaps the associated EPs although they sound a little ropey these days.
Not too into the later poppier stuff.

i'm going with the twins. i'm sure i'd hate most of it now if i listened again, but i gotta give props for "if you were here" over the end of 16 candles, if nothing else. put another way, the nod from john hughes is the clincher for me. then again, don't you want me just flat out rocks in that awful i can't really sing but i'm british so it still sounds good way.

I really liked the Thompson Twins!! infact i've still got a soft spot for 'hold me now'

I still think 'love on your side' is great!

Then we the Human League, They were great to.......

However, Phil Oakeys dodgy singing (and lyrics, what are u on about phil?) aside, Keep Feelin' Facination still gets my vote!!

then you've got Sound of the Crowd. dodgy singing (and lyrics, what are you on about phil) aside i still like this one to.

and what about 'Love Action'? Dodgy singing (and lyrics, what are u on about phil) Are you detecting a theme here?. The sounds on Love Action are great! (IMHO)

I love bizzare topics like this one.

Talk Talk just piss all over both of these acts. They were amazing. That voice!

Anyway that my 10 pence worth!!

Yeah, Talk Talk have them both but I'll take Haircut 100's "Love plus one" over anything by either group...

O.K., I just went back and listened to the haircut 100 song and although good, not as good as the Human League's "Don't you want me"...
