I usually put a second kick, lower volume to accompany the main kick. And i even add sometimes a little su bass or a low bass note too. Its gives it a fullness and bounciness.

i go for usually using three different bassdrums all on different EQ bands.. top one disted if I want a bit of punch in it.. Top one can also be run through any effect (LFO-controlled ringmodulation rocks for this type of stuff) then you compress everything and finally soft limit it..

Bouncy kick
jack it from a bouncy record - usually the first 8 or 16 you don't have that much over a good kick
drop it in simpler and get on with your life
why reinvent the wheel - know what mean
...was I suppose to say that (jack it?)
wait...
let me rephrase, spend the next several weeks perfecting a kick made with a Sine wave from Operator, apply lots of compression eq and a gate if you got the skills, then spend a few more days fitting it into a minimal glitch project

You are more likely to achieve a bouncy kick if you have properly filtered out the bass frequenies from all sounds that are not supposed to be bass. This will clarify the low end, and allow you to get more oomph from the kick and bass.
Also, keep in mind that the overall groove is a big part of making it bouncy. The right combination of hi-hats and snare can make a kick sound bouncy, or not...also the bassline plays a big role in the bounce of course.
