all I know is that alllllllllllll my other programs work fine with NO problems at all. I can see that the problem is with rewire.........stil doesn't mean that i cant be pissed.....

oh obviously there is call for a little excitement, but considering that my rewire is working and yours is not then we can assume that ableton knows how to use rewire to some degree so I would start asking the question of "what is specific to my system that may be the problem" cause ableton works for a whole hell of alot of people (meaning the program does in fact work) if it doesn't work at all there is something going on in your system that needs some attention.
granted I'm totally not saying that ableton is flawless, it has bugs up the wazoo, but if a program isn't working at all, doesn't start, doesn't do anything, then it's gotta be system specific.
