Re: work in progress
Sits real nice, like the spacey, paddy noise used to drop with the bass.
wheres the vocal from, recorded or sampled etc?
BTW - passes the ipod test sounded real nice.

cool
this rocks. especially the drums... how did you do the snare sound(s)?
two points
i would reduce the intensity of the drum breaks a little bit (play with the velocity)
and
make the vocal track more distinct (i could barely understand what she's singing...)
nice work!

It works really well, although it's not my kinda thing musically so I'm not the best judge I guess.
But as resident grouch - there's something that bugs me.
I'm not into the kick sound too much, the sound is too peaky in that unusual place for me. It has the sound of a comb filter (or something similar) that kept needling me, I expected it to sit right when all the elements kicked in - but still it kept niggling.
Sorry, I like the idea of experimental kicks a lot, but this one doesn't quite do it for me. This isn't criticism for criticisms sake BTW, just my opinion, I would imagine that other people like it lots.

I agree; the sound on the kick-drum .... not so nice for my ears, and the "too hot" vocals can be a bit annoying. The musicstyle is not exactly my cup of tea, then, but i really like alot of this; the production is very good! -if you don't mind the kick and the too hot vocals.. My humble opinion only,SJ!
Nice work indeed!

Excellent production. Little confused in the upper frequencies. Still a lot cleaner than i could manage. I would can the vocals and work that hoover sound a bit more. But thats me i like things a little more hardcore.
