simple enough question...

Post by chumpchange » Fri Mar 03, 2006 11:19 pm

...that for some reason i can't seem to figure out. how and where do i save templates? the user manual says to do it in the Live Preferences folder, which for the life of me i cannot find.

p.s., are templates the easiest (only?) way to save midi assignments?

Hi,

The thing mentionned in the manual is the default song Live opens when you launch it. You can save only one template that way, go to preferences / default. It is at the top of the window.
In order to save multiple templates, you can always save multiple Live sets in a folder of your choice.

Hope that helps,

Oh and yes, I myself find that using templates is an easy way to save MIDI assignements. :D

Yeah, i just create a folder called, "templates" (yes, i know...very original) and save various templates in there. My default is blank. Depending on what mood i am in, i just draga template from the browser.

Good idea. Thanks for sharing.
Ah, that shows you the power of music, that magician of magician, who lifts his wand and says his mysterious word and all things real pass away and the phantoms of your mind walk before you clothed in flesh.
