Can't get my audio to work

I've just installed the Live Digidesign edition 2.1 on my PC. I go to Options-Preferences-Audio, and it says: "Device Type: No Audio"
How do I get Audio to work?

(I am trying to use the software (Ableton) without it as a slave to my Pro Tools. I have yet to use it with or without).

I don't remember...I'll reboot right now, and let you know...it's usually the simplest thing...

I rebooted and still have the same problem..."Audio Disabled"

What should I try next?

did you go into the audio tab in preferences? sorry just saw that you did. but is there a drop down menu to choose something other than no audio?
