Third Ableton Mix!

Post by zstowasser » Sat Mar 25, 2006 5:50 am

Ok so after about 3 months of converting vinyl, warping, editing and testing I have a mix to share with the ableton community =P. Volume adjustments aren't perfect but there is a nice feel to this set. I hope you guys like it.. I've gotten good reviews from my friends atleast. =P

The track 35minutes in is a collaboration I did with Mike Sweeney forthcoming on my label Stillwater Records this year!

Tracklisting:

Bent - Exercise 4 [Open]
Blendbrank - Synthetic Symphony (Instrumental Edit) [BugEyed Records]
Till Westwood - Same Man [Refune]
Way Out West - Everyday (Zach Edit) [Distinctive]
Superchumbo - Wowie Zowie Feat Edgy [Superchumbo]
Stone Lions - Snow Over Arizona [Marine Parade]
Slacker - Free Man [Jukebox In The Sky]
Sweeney & Stowasser - Heliosheath (Unfinished/Unmastered) [Stillwater Records]
Shiloh & Marc Mitchell - Run2thelight (Dub Mix) (Zach Edit) [Method]
Union Jack - 2 Full moons and a trout (Chab Remix) [Platipus]
Bent - As You Fall (Micah's Swollen Booty 360 Mix) [Bootleg]-respect!
*Sample Psychiatric Office Answering Machine used throughout the mix.

Nice peak hour funky house set! I was suprised to hear the beats not synchronized in the middle of your set considering this was done in ableton.. I thought the set had some nice moments and full on party rockin vibe but some of the transitions were long and drawn out but maybe thats how you wanted them. thanks for sharing!

thanks for the nice mix!! :D great selections, smooth mixes, and you didnt over indulge in any of those fancy dj tricks fx some of the other guys tend to do which was refreshing. 8)
