Dammit, dammit , dammit! This thread is starting to get all serious again, just when I was having a good laugh.

When I first saw this thread I thought "Fuck, not another one of these lame-ass personal vendetta threads, hopefully it slips into obscurity fast...", but I have to admit, curiosity won me over, I opened the thread. And as usual I feel sorry for any pathetic soul that thinks their opinion of someone else deserves attention via a thread in a forum about music production software. I mean shit, you can't even get mad at a guy like that for cluttering up a forum, 'cause you just gotta feel sorry for the poor bastard, and the mockery he will inevitably receive.
And the rest of you guys just fuckin' crack me up. Stop being so God damn entertaining, I'm trying to spend less time on this f'n board!

At least we all love Ableton and good music!!!
That's the whole point of this thread - we sit at our computers / or laptops and try our hardest to bang out quality shit
we kick back smoke a joint with a friend or come home from the club and post some random shit
hahahahaha
then we wake up and do it all over again - no matter what kind of music you're making we're in this together (I think)

Ah my friend you forgot a very important one
Were as in werewolf - comes from the latin "vir" or old english "wer" both meaning man. Bringing to mind one of the many great lines in Young Frankenstein. Frank "What was that?" Igor "Werewolf!" Frank "were wolf?" Igor " There . . . Wolf"
I still haven't figured out Affect and Effect
just when I think I've got it I hear some conflicting use and it's back to the dry erase board.

affect (verb) - to cause effects on something: we were all affected by the change of regime, or: his ignorance affected us all
effect (verb) - to make something happen: we effected the change of regime
also
effect (noun) - an effect (should be obvious)
I think generally the verbs effect and effectuate are interchangeable, whereas affect and effectuate are not.
