Question about Recording Sessions into Arrangement...

Post by jolieuke » Tue Apr 18, 2006 5:32 pm

Hi!

When you improvise in the Session view, you can play clips and add effects that will totally change de sound of that clip (like everybody know) but, when you record this improvisation in the Arrangement view, it record only the clip you choose and keep the automation of the effect. It did not record the new sound you create. So if you put out that effect, the sound of new clip will stay like it was before.

Is there a way to record in the Arrangement view and record exactly like it sound when you jam?

Thanks!

Why not route all your tracks to different channels and record there? This way you record post-effects... It is done in each channels I/O menu, for example track 1's output would go to track 9 instead of going to the master, track 2's to track 10, etc. Then you record in channel 9 onwards...

Hope this helps...

Take care
