Advice: what colour should I paint my small studio?
Hi folks!
I'm moving to a new apartment with 2 bedrooms, and one of them will be (for the first time) entirely dedicated for a music studio. The bedroom is small, but most of my work is electronic music, not so much tracking and stuff, apart from the odd vocal or percussion sampling.
I want to give the place a good vybe, an inviting mood, as I work for long hours there, people come and go, etc, and planned on painting one of the walls with colour...I've looked for studio pictures, but haven't found anything that really catches my attention. Many of them are either totally careless, or totally creepy, or totally out of my budget
What do you think? What colour should I paint it? Any advice?

Turn up the radio. Turn up the tape machine. Look into the sunset up ahead. Roll the windows down for a better taste of the cool desert wind. Ah yes. This is what it's all about. Total control now.

Hehehehe, i knew some bastard will laugh at me.
You know, I thought it would be an easy one, but it has been thougher than I expected. Painting the living room or my bed, that's easy, but my studio is such an important place, I spend so much time and energy there...

get an LED colour change uplighting kit - that way you can set the colour of the wall for the mood of the track you are working on!
or if you are feeling annoying you can set it to a sound-to-light mode

While I was loging to write, Angtstrom was faster. I change the lighting depending on the music I am working on, also instensity- if I am really tired but the deadlines are there keep myself awake with more lights.
Even if the high tech is not available there you can find some other solutions. but this is really great option.
