To avoid loosing some or all of my song during a random crash, I have taken the habit to save (Self-Contained) as soon as I complete an operation (say record) or before I begin something harmul (like dragging 'n' dropping on the arrangement view).
When I'm finished I Close Set from the menu and I'm promped about what to do about unreferenced samples. It does not matter if I answer Yes or No, Live ALWAYS crashes : a message appears telling that I have to save my work under a different name, but the interface is frozen and Live can be quit only by killing the task in the Task Manager (XP). The same happens when Quitting from menu or by closing Window.
This is a real pain. Anybody with the same problem?
