... But I wonder how can i set Live (5.2 is my version) as "slave" with external MIDI sync, depending on my Remote 25 SL tempo encoder, if the program doesn't recognize any "start/stop" command, when it is in external sync mode ...

Hi Magneto,

we have already received some complaints about this behaviour
in Live. The fact of the matter is that if set to external sync, Live
only reacts to MIDI Start-, MIDI Stop-, and MIDI Continue-
messages (as specified by the MIDI standard). This behaviour
ensures synchronised playback.

If you use the Ableton Automap provided with the Remote 25 SL
or if you MIDI-learn the Remote's transport-buttons to control
Live's transport-buttons, you can only trigger Live's internal Start/
Stop functions. As far as I know, it is not feasible to send MIDI
Start, etc. with an out-of-the-box Remote 25 SL.

However, you might be able to modify one of the user-presets and
set up the transport-buttons on your Remote 25 SL to send the
appropriate messages using the Remote SL Editor.
