reverse reverb effect - is there a simple way?
if i want to create a reverse reverb effect in live is there an easy way yo do it? heres what ive been doing.
reverse the vocal sample.
add the reverb fx.
render the audio.
load the sample back in.
reverse it one more time to put it the right way round.
add the reverb fx.
render the audio.
now you have a reverb lead in and lead out.
is there an easier way than that?

thats the way i would do it in an editor. i was wondering if there was a quicker way in live without all the rendering.

there's not a way that will give you that same sort of "preverb" effect. a reverse reverb preset in some plug-in or hardware 'verb might work but the timing obviously won't be the same.nuperspective wrote:thats the way i would do it in an editor. i was wondering if there was a quicker way in live without all the rendering.

Instead of rendering,
record or resample into an other track and drag the new clip back.
Thats less hassle than rendering.

i didnt think resampling took the fx from the channel output as well? if so thats cool.

Yeah, resampling records the whole bunch wich you actually hear over the master output, record takes only the track out, but still with fx.nuperspective wrote:i didnt think resampling took the fx from the channel output as well? if so thats cool.
What you mean is consolidate, that creates a new audiofile with all the warp info, but without fx.

just try some combinations of reverbs and delays (reversed), tweak some knobs and then you can come out with an interesting "reversed" fx.geo wrote:Eeerr...where is that effect?Atomikat wrote:Well...I use the reverse reverb effect of guitar rig ...it's easy
P.S. open guitar rig, click on "search", then write : reverse... and it will give you a list of presets with that fx.

What I do is, I drown the vocal with reverb to taste. Then I resample it and reverse the new sample. And we'll that's it lol

Or un your case I'll drown the guitar with reverb to taste then resample and reverse the new, sample.
