Bunch of Jokers, right.
This is for real.
Look in View Menu and get the INfo box showing. There are no windows in LIVE as such, just hiding parts of the two screens (tab between them).
Get the Info box showing and pause mouse curser over ANYTHING and hold it there, steady (I have trouble with steady sometimes).
The print is small but useful.
There are also "tool tips" when mouse curser is paused also.
I say, "Click on something that you think has audio in it, like a clip or track clip and watch the screen. Something will change. That's usually the edit box. (across bottom of screen next to the Info box.)
You don't really "edit" anything in LIVE, you just tell it when to start and stop and draw envelope lines for CCs and such. Things light up or not. Lit is something, not lit is that something hidden or off. Watch info box.
Click on anything that is small and round and looks like a button, and carefully watch the screen. . .something will happen. .. Really!
I remember starting out. Got really lost but it grows on you. It is different.
Keep clicking on things, you cannot hurt anything. It's all non destructive.
Space bar stops and starts. Tab switches views. That's about it.
Strange but really wonderful.
