how to use phantom power

Hiya!

I'm going to buy a condenser mic soon and I realized I don't know how to use phantom power. Do you turn it on before or after you connect the mic to the mixer? whats the procedure when you're finished recording? disconnect the mic? turn off the phantom power then disconnect the mic?

you can leave phantom on.
it's not hurting anything left on.
just connect the mic to the mixer and have fun.
