Motu 2408 ASIO Mac

Hello ppl,

I'm using Ableton Live v1.0.3
on a Mac G4 Dual 450MHz Mac OS 9.0.4
a MOTU 2408, PCI-324 driver v2.1
and an Emagic AMT8, OMS v2.3.8

Live still gives ( running v1.0.3 )

Could not open the audio device output /
MOTU PCI-324
+++++

My question is, what am i doing wrong?

Please Help...

My system is almost identical to yours- even the 450 DP Mac G4. I use a MOTU MTP for my MIDI though. I got the same error message, downloaded the Live update, downloaded the most recent ASIO driver for the 2408 on the MOTU site, installed...and everything works fine and the 2408 is reconized for ASIO output from LIVE. What version of the ASIO driver do you have? Also check to see that you put the actual ASIO folder into the Resources folder in Live. Hope this helps.
