Add a few corruption scandals and u've got a nice picture of Italian fooball: unfair, arrogant and dirty.

I think it is quite the tragedy that a person of his status has such a last career-action; even not thinking of the concequences of what kind of a message it gives to the youngsters that a person with an action like his gets the price for best player;
but this makes me laugh nonetheless

hehe

that people have so much time on their hands to make this stuff, unbelievable..
I don't have time for that man, I must be wining on my forum..

[quote="markaugust"
wow, that's single minded man..
I reckon it is an extra thumbs up for a team with such a black cloud above their head the whole tournament; to arise above that and win.
[/quote]

Well, what im basically saying is that in most media, instead of hearing "Italians won" - which I AGREE is well deserved, the only thing we hear is "Zidane got provoqued by Materazzi"
in other words, what comes on the foreground is the scandals, not the victory...
i think thats a quite relevant observation, dont you agree?
so, if you add to this the scandals rocking the italian football world these days, i think its fair enough to say that with all these dark clouds above their heads, they are building up a rather "stormy" image that can overshadow their good achievements.
Could you tell me whats single minded in this?

cheers

Ben

wow swps,
from your date-joined-the-forum /post-count ratio, would it be correct to say that you post rather rarely, so, only when its really worth it???

apparantly this is what was said
any italians comment on the transalations>?

Zidane whilst Materazzi is holding him:

ZZ: "Ordinanza de tirare il costume!!" (stop pulling on my shirt!!)

MM": "Taciti, enculo, hai solamente cio che merite..." (shut up
f*cker, you only get what you deserve)

ZZ: "si e cio..." (yes, sure...)

While Zidane starts to move away, Materazzi goes:

MM: "meritate tutti ciò, voi gli enculato di musulmani, sporchi
terroristici" (all of you deserve that, f*cking Muslims, terrorist
b*stards)

sometimes italian is hard to transalte.
do you want the right translation?....here it is:

zz: smettila di tirarmi la maglia

mm: zitto stronzo, hai ciò che ti meriti

zz: si certo

mm: vi meritate tutto questo, fottuti mussulmani, terroristi bastardi

..this is italian...i had to read the english side too, to understand :D

but i don't think materazzi used the word "terroristi" ...he said to italian tv he doesn't know what a terrorist is

I also heard "somewhere" that ZZ was called a terrorist. And lately that's even worse than being called a childmolester.

Headbutts on the playfield aren't ok but if that's really what he said and he is stupid enough to admit it maybe mm should also get a penalty like being excluded from 3 or 4 games.
Calling your opponent's mother a whore or pinching someone in the balls at a corner is just dirty play , shouting rascist crap is just wrong , you only do that type of crap if you also do it in reallife imo.

... then he added smtg like "the only terrorist i know is my cute little 10 yrs old daughter"

Do you really believe this???

this sounds 100% like the kind of bullshit lawyers and pr advisors advise people to say.

no - I post only when people such as yourself make assumptions on another persons forum activity.

Shall we start a "who got ableton Live and registered for the forum first thread?" - It seems to me your post count should go in reverse....

i just noticed the fact (not the assumption) that you wrote something iike 35 posts in the last 2 years. i dont care, everyone is free, im not judging you or anyone else for that...
but i found that funny, u know, i thought "wow, what an honour. the guy kinda posts once a month on this forum, and this month its to tell me to go play hockey."
found it funny... im not tryin to offend you in any way...
i think we all know what happens when someone tries to offend someone else...
