Latency problem with Delta 66?

Hi all,

I've been having some excessive latency problems with Live 3.x and my Delta 66 audio card. The Delta 66 works fine with Reason directly, but when re-wiring through Live there is a very noticeable latency of about 100ms (!!) even though the Live preferences panel says the latency should be 8ms. The odd thing is, on my laptop Rewiring Reason through Live works nicely (Edirol UA5).

Any ideas?

I've just installer the latest firewire drivers for an M-audio fw 410 interface. Alu Pbook 1Ghz, 768 mo RAM, os 10.3.2 : Cpu usage is very high (far higher than on OS 10.2.7 I used previously) so I have to raise up the buffer size to 768 instead of 256 before for the same Cpu usage. Don't know if you ,use a mac. Just to say that the audio support in Panther seems to suck !

make sure your audio preferences in live are set to an ASIO driver. i tend to get big latencies when programs are trying to use MME drivers

do you have the same problem when using live by itself?

what OS etc
