i'm definitly not a person with many "tip or tricks" as i haven't been using live very long. .
but to get the side-chaining "ducking" effect in OSx WITH ableton's compressor, is it not possible just to have a compressor on a return track, and your "kick" and "intrument" sent through that?
cause that's what i did. and it sounds like "ducking" to me.
but, again. i'm new to live. and a don't usually make music that entails a great deal of sidechaining.
