That's f'd up right there - lots of those types in the world though...every minute another one is born

I could care less what adults do to each other but when Children and or Animals are involved in some type of cruelty I actually get a little heated - it's wrong

how very compassionate of you! So, in your mind, rehabilitation is not an option? How about castration? Would that be more "humanitarian"?

before i get bashed, i'm just asking. As far as i'm aware though, rape is not a capital punishable offense. My questions were asked because you're promoting a change in the laws?

South Carolina has some politicians actually working to change the laws and apply the death penalty for repeat offending child rapists. I think it would be for third strike offenses.

Regardless.... If I still lived in South Carolina, I would vote for that in a heartbeat.

There can be ZERO tolerance for child rapists. I only wish they were trying to apply this harsh penalty earlier than a thrid offense. That's just 2 more children harmed.

I actually believe if you harm a child or animal you should die, easy but the US Department of Justice stats actually show that rehabilitation works to some extent - at least as far as the rearrest rate

Sex offenders

On a given day in 1994 there were approximately 234,000 offenders convicted of rape or sexual assault under the care, custody, or control of corrections agencies; nearly 60% of these sex offenders are under conditional supervision in the community.

The median age of the victims of imprisoned sexual assaulters was less than 13 years old; the median age of rape victims was about 22 years.

An estimated 24% of those serving time for rape and 19% of those serving time for sexual assault had been on probation or parole at the time of the offense for which they were in State prison in 1991.
Of the 9,691 male sex offenders released from prisons in 15 States in 1994, 5.3% were rearrested for a new sex crime within 3 years of release.
Of released sex offenders who allegedly committed another sex crime, 40% perpetrated the new offense within a year or less from their prison discharge.

South Carolina where the age of consent for girls is 14 and 16 for boys.

Yes, it's lower for girls than boys (can't even use the terms men and women here), what can you read into that? SC, the cutting edge of humanity.

Nuke it from orbit, it's the only way to be sure.

Very sad indeed. Rape is such a horrible crime, and I know that this poor girl will suffer the rest of her life for it. I hope that the perpetrator is caught and punished. For the record, I tend to believe that violence only breeds more violence... besides; if you really want venegance, commit the criminal to a life of repent and suffering, not a quick death.

Oh, and on a lighter sidenote, I found it really funny and out-of-place that fox news highlights such informative keywords in the article like Basketball.

when it comes to children it should the the electric chair or 1000 life sentences withot parole

child pornagraphers should have the immediate judgement of the firing squad

if I saw that act happening myself they would be burying what would be left of him and I would need a lawyer

as far as compassion is concerned
nope don't have any for child pornographers and rapists
no not even a little compassion

I care about victims and their families and very, very strong deterents for sickos
not the devil in human form

No one has the right to play god - even women

but if I randomly knock up some chick, I could see myself paying the $250 to have it quiffed out.
