Don't listen to this.

Post by Silverfish » Sun Jul 30, 2006 6:22 pm

Hi. This is a remix of Nelly Furtado's "Promiscuous". It was something fun to do on a Saturday, and now I'd like your feedback. Please give me any suggestions, and forgive me for linking to my university web space (no website yet). Let me know what you think.

Thanks

I think you need to make the whole thing 6 dB quieter, then add some punchy drums.

haha this made me curious.

there's some serious mixing/clipping issues you need to look into. this is really not the muzic i usually listen to so i can't really say anything else

Like the mix very much, can indeed be a thing I would play djing.

But as stated the levels need to be fixed.
My old signature was pretty stupid, so I changed it to this one.

8O -6dB makes such a huge difference. Thanks for the advice. I guess I'm a victim of severe mass-marketing clipitis. Back to work. Will post again with something you should listen to.

PS- This isn't really my type of music either, but I'm trapped in Iowa and people only listen to stuff they've been told is cool (ie rap and emo).
