Has anyone bought an educational copy of live?
I faxed the necessary info to ableton today and am itchin' to get it. I was just wondering how long anyone else has waited for a response.

I paid 240 for my L5 and I had to pay full price for operator (149) and now I'll have to pay 119 for L6 upgrade unless there is an academic upgrade price.

My wife is a teacher. I emailed the abes to find out the educational discount for the upgrade (boxed) plus Sampler and Operator. If I can get a 50% discount, that would be $110 for the L6 boxed upgrade + $100 for Sampler and $60 for Operator = $280!! that would be alot easier to swallow than the full MSRP.........

EDIT: on second thought, i ordered the education version of logic for 300.
i might not use live for a while.
