hey guys, havnt checked on here for a while.
thanks for the feedback!!!! we really appreciate it.
to answer some questions...
there are 3 of us involved, Dr Skunkenstein, Heuristic Audio and myself Delinquent Dialect. We are all from the UK, spread along the south coast, from London to Bournemouth. We use software and hardware combined. the meat of the drums is a real 808, you hear it rolling along throughout the whole set. We also use machinedrum, somtimes we mix and match with different synths such as 303, 101, that sort of thing. Effects are all old school racks, such as Roland Echos and crusty old reverbs, compressors etc. ofcourse we use ableton to trigger the hardware and also recorded parts we prepared beforehand. Its all original material. This set was actually from the Dublin Electronic Arts Festival in Oct 2005.
to hear more from skunkenstein I recommend you check out his mix 'listening with force trillogy' you can find it here www.basswarp.com along with some of our friends music/mixes etc.
Heuristic Audio has an album coming out on Satamile soon, also hes has some 12" releases on Satamile. http://www.satamile.com/
er there you go, glad you liked it.
