Axiom25 didn't like tinyXP, Live's unhappy it's going back..

... to the store.

I was hoping that this great controller would work wonders in Live.

I went to guitar center, tried it out and loved the keys.

unfortunately i'm screwed by my current operating system. The device refuses to be recognized with my version of TinyXP (used for running my music apps - it's basicly a slim version of xp). I can install the drivers just fine, but when i turn on the unit, my machine goes for a loop as it tries to finish the install of the Axiom25.

I know it's not my computer since i was able to install the Axiom25 to my 2nd partition (a normal full install of XP Pro) - without a problem.

i was thinking of getting rid of my current 49 key controller ($10 a few years back when MusiciansFriend had a mistake on their webstore), and possibly my Trigger finger with this Axiom25... but with an x-session i barely use mounted on top of the keyboard - i had as many controls at my fingertips as the Axiom25..

i wont be getting the korg microkontrol either - the pads are the size of chicklets, and the keys are childlike.

if i didn't already have the trigger finger, the Axiom would be a great piece of kit for me.

oh well.... I'm really waiting for is Conectiv/Torq...

same scenario for me once I got an axiom 49 my trigger finger just sits there. 8 pads is enough at once for me thanks to all the other controls.
