which akg condenser mic?

Post by iMark » Fri Aug 25, 2006 3:12 pm

hi,

i'm looking for a good vocal mic for my home studio. i've narrowed it down to either the akg c2000b, c3000b or c4000b.

is the c4000b worth the extra? i don't really mind paying it as hopefully i won't be upgrading it for a while.

i must stress it really is only going to be used for vocals though and messing with a vocoder.

thanks, m

take a look at the SE Electronics mics - cheaper and just as good as AKG's

my all purpose condenser mic in studio is a C1000s - does me

Go 4 the best mic you can afford, you'll not regret it.

You can't go wrong with Studio Projects B1. Google & see. Good for everything.
And only about $80.
