No matter what I try I still seem to get a sync problem between my midi timing and my audio when trying to sequence...
midi output is rock solid at any bpm between most of my external hardware, so is the audio, but when I try to use audio and midi in the same project on seperate tracks I just never seem to get the two to lock at exactly the same bpm amd therefore sound CORRECT, the audio seems to be slower by 1bpm!
Im using ableton 5.2
an edirol UA-25 audio interface
a MOTU express XT 8/8 midi box
any 1 have similar problems or ideas as to how to fix???!
i so badly just want to ditch cubase once and for all and use abes for all my midi/audio work, but this is such a set back!!!! argh!!!
thanks for any potential help.
1 bpm sync problem between midi & audio
Yes, thats right, the midi is offset by a small amount of msecs, ive tried countless times to get the midi offset right but it just seems to stay the same, as though im doing nothing..... im sure im misssing something basic...but what is it?Machinate wrote:People have asked about this before, and most times the tempos aren't actually different, but rather the midi is offset by a small amount of milliseconds.
Is this the case?
have u tweaked the setting for midi clock delay? in prefs...
