on the master channel never anything, level usually between -4 to -6 db.
to leave enough headroom.
then in a separate session whatever the individual track needs.
usually done by someone else (mainly re-form studio, London or chemistry mastering, NY), i am able to do it myself but i want my material going through a seperate set of ears! so i do that only for others.
